Reunion

Reunion” (2024) is a riveting blend of mystery, dark comedy, and thrilling whodunit storytelling. Directed by industry newcomer Jake Szymanski, the film takes viewers on a wild and snowed-in adventure, where long-forgotten high school memories collide with deadly secrets. Plot Overview

Ray Hammond (Lil Rel Howery), the story’s protagonist, is a reluctant participant in his high school reunion which proves rather awkward as he engages with his classmates including the insufferably cocky Evan West (Billy Magnussen) and the perpetually overlooked Vivian Chase (Jillian Bell). However, the trip down the memory lane turns sinister when the obnoxious famous gossip queen Amanda Tanner (Nina Dobrev) is found dead under bizarre circumstances.

With the reunion guests stalled in the lodge due to blizzard, tensions seem to rise as deep rooted secrets come to light and alliances are tested. In their attempt to catch the murderer in the group, old grudges and betrayals are revealed, adding to the fact that each person becomes a suspect and the characters are forced into a dire game of survival. It seems all too clear that the only way to survive is to work together but with the stakes so high, things could take a rather drastic turn.
